Rosen law firm has announced a class action claim against CD Projekt. The reason for this was the supply of false information to investors about the state of Cyberpunk 2077 on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The lawsuit emphasizes that the studio executives did not disclose the fact that, due to the huge number of bugs in Cyberpunk 2077, it is almost impossible to play on the console versions. Users complained about poor optimization, which made it seem like the game was simply not ready for release. This was the reason that Sony removed the game from the PS Store. Rosen emphasizes that the respondents’ statements about their business and actions were materially false and misleading. Moreover, the firm claims that investors suffered losses after truthful details about the state of the game emerged. Rosen is currently asking CD Projekt shareholders interested in the dispute to fill out an online form. Earlier, CD Project RED apologized for the poor technical condition of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One. The studio has promised to fix most of the problems over time. One of the patches has already been released.
